Sandy High School's production of "Peter and the Starcatcher" opens this week!!

Opening this week!!

Sandy High School Drama dives into the backstory of Peter Pan in the fall production of "Peter and the Starcatcher," by Rick Elice, music by Wayne Barker and based on the novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. The play kicks off with a young orphan and his mates, who are shipped off from England to a distant island, but are discovered by Molly, a Starcatcher-in-training. Mix in a mysterious trunk, marauding pirates, jungle tyrants and more, and a thrilling adventure ensues.

The Sandy High School production will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, Saturday Nov. 16 and Thursday, Nov. 21 through Saturday, Nov. 23, at Sandy High School, 37400 Bell Street. Tickets are $5 for students and seniors, $8 for adults and kids 5 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

    Due to cast illness, tonight's performance of Peter and the Starcatcher is canceled. Opening night has been pushed to tomorrow, November 16th at 7 pm. We also have performances next week on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7 pm, plus a student matinee on Thursday.
